Yes yes yes.... I already know what you guys are thinking: "Where the hell were you? What's been going on? What have you been up to?" Well to answer you briefly: school happened. It was by far the worst semester I have ever went through in my entire life! I had tons of homework and assignments and all that stuff that's going to be useless to me later... I was forced to press pause on my journey because I was virtually unable to do anything but work and work and work! Anyways... I'm in vacation for a month now and the worst part is over. I'm so glad to finally have time to write on my blog!
Ok let's get down to business!
Let me fill you up on what's been going on in my life:
- At the end of last summer, I got a part time job at the American Apparel Warehouse Sale and saved money to buy myself the BOSS RC-300!
For those of you who don't know, it's a loop pedal station. It basically consists of recording a section of sound and then playing it back over and over, or for a set amount of repetitions.

Okay, so I didn't use it yet... and I must say that have no idea how to make it work BUT I'll figure it all out for the weeks to come!
The main reason why I bought this bad boy is mainly because I don't play any instruments myself and I think this is a great way for me to create beats and make up my own songs. I'm very excited to try it out :)
- Second of all, this year I am getting involved in my school's Talent show (that I am actually organizing) and I will be performing! It's nothing big but you have to start somewhere. Remember: NEVER underestimate an opportunity that presents itself to you. You never know where it may lead you...
- Third of all, I am most likely moving to Toronto next year! I found a program at Ryerson University that fits me perfectly. It's called "Creative Industries" and it mainly focuses on teaching us how entertainment industries work as businesses (here's the link: http://ryersoncreative.ca). I'm super pumped and I'm sure it's going to open me up many opportunities in the music industry!
